Inclusive education is an approach to educating persons with intellectual disabilities.
Children with intellectual disabilities spend most of their time in a school with non-disabled children. Inclusion Uganda advocates for inclusive education in all our project areas and the country at large.
This ensures better acceptance of intellectual disabilities in communities and this helps people with Intellectual Disabilities in employment and other social activities. Some of the schools we work with include; Bishop West Mukono, Namalere Parents school, LCC children’s center, Kalasa primary school, Real Primary School to mention but a few.
